Amazon has officially partnered with TikTok, making it easier for Amazon customers to shop on the social media platform. Some foreign media even reported that this large-scale cooperation also marks a "new era of content creation".

In the announcement of this partnership, TikTok also explained how this social commerce service would be used:

  1. Users will see Amazon product recommendations in the "ForYou" push. When ready to purchase, they can link their TikTok account to their Amazon account through a one-time setup.
  2. Once the account is linked, Amazon customers can complete the shopping checkout process within the product advertisement without leaving the TikTok app, thus achieving a faster and smoother experience.
  3. Users who choose to link their Amazon US account will see real-time pricing, Prime eligibility, shipping estimates, and product details in TikTok's featured Amazon product ads.
  4. Users can choose to cancel their linked Amazon account at any time in the TikTok app settings.
